New bike trailer!

We got a bike trailer for Hunter and tried it out today. It was so fun to watch little Hunter sit back and enjoy his ride!

Mommy and Me Meetup!

Today Hunter and I went to our first meetup since he was in the hospital. I was a little nervous for some reason but I knew I had no reason to be. It seems like it's been forever since we have been to a meetup. Hunter did great though (I knew he would). I could tell he was a tiny bit overwhelmed at first since he hasn't been around all his baby friends for a while but he soon became his fun self and found some toys to play with and went to town. I love my mommy group and I am so thankful to know these wonderful moms and babies.

We celebrated Abby's 1st Birthday today at our play group...Happy Birthday Abby!!

Ultimate Blog Party!!!

I came across Ultimate Blog Party from a few other blogs I read....this sounds really cool and is a great way to get to know other bloggers who blog about similar things!

My name is Kjersta and I have an amazing little boy named Hunter who is 7 months old. He recently had a tracheostomy done due to having a very small airway (you can read more about it under Hunter's Story). He is such a trooper and this doesn't even phase him at all. My mom and I took Hunter to the park today. It was a beautiful day out. We went down the slide together, enjoyed the sunshine, and got some cute pics of Hunter......

Cake Pops!!!

This was my first attempt at making cake pops....I am practicing them for Hunter's birthday....that's right, I am already planning for his 1st birthday(hey it's never too soon!) I found them to be quite easy to make, it just takes a bit of practice getting the frosting on just right. So I have more practice to do but for a first try I was quite happy. Although I did put a little too much frosting on the inside so they were a little more gooey than I like but oh well. I got the recipe from littlemissmomma.blogspot.com--thanks for the recipe!!
